How It Works? - turning a WordPress Blog theme into a customize Website.
- First, you need a domain name if you don't have one, let me know, I'll help you register a name. Domain names can be purchased annually or up to 5 years in advance and could cost around $9.95 per year depending upon your domain name registrar. I recommend purchasing your domain name with webnet77.com
- Next, you'll need a place where your website will live, called domain hosting. I also recommend using Webnet77.com for your web hosting and domain name registration needs. Their hosting costs ranges from just over $4.00 per month to $16.00 per month.
- Once you have your domain name and hosting in place, a deposit of no more than one-half of the total project proposal will be required prior to start of project.
- Then, I will put up a custom "Coming Soon" page while your Wordpress site is being created.
- Before I begin to search the right WordPress Theme that best fits your needs, you will be ask to complete my Client Profile. Every new client will receive a Profile sheet to complete prior to the project. The profile helps me to understand your need for this project and to seek out the right Theme for you.
- You are required to either provide the Content for all your pages or inquire about our original Professional Content Services. We can add stock photos to your site for Free.
- I try to have first draft of your website to you within 3 working days. At this point you can make any suggestions or corrections. Depending upon the functionalities and how many pages you require, most projects can be completed within 7 working days.
- Upon final approval, the remaining balance must be paid before your site is released to the public.
- Once balance is paid, we will provide you with 30-minutes of free training in using the Administration area of your new WordPress website so that you will be able to make your own future updates.
